On July 03, 2023, at 16.30 local time, Mario Vielmo has reached the summit of Nanga Parbat, the ninth highest mountain on Earth with an elevation of 8126 m and his thirteenth eight-thousander (out of fourteen)!
Despite it being considered very difficult to climb and with an inclement weather, Mario made the very long and steep climb to reach the summit and conquer it.
The fourteenth and last eight-thousander is already in his sight as the expedition to climb Shisha Pangma is beginning on September 10 and ending on October 28, and we wish him the best of luck for this awesome achievement.
We are very proud of Mario and happy to see a little bit of CSC also on the top of Nanga Parbat with him!
